Aware of its presence in, and influence on, local, regional and international communities, the Foundation aims to set an example for society in general - by minimizing the environmental impacts of its activities, prevent pollution and actively contribute to sustainable development . With this goal in mind, the Foundation has implemented an environmental management system, and in 2013, became the first Portuguese cultural foundation to be registered in the Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), as well as receive certification under the NP EN ISO 14001. |
